You mean CPSA represents over 5% of CTP's shares? If true that is around 22 million votes. If we assume "overwhelming majority" translates to 20 million of those votes, and add Stuart Howes' 2.7M and the roughly 9 million shares that have been publicly pledged to No on HotCopper, that amounts to 31 million shares which is already 29% of the total required to block the scheme by volume.

There will be some double counting there because some of the people who reported on HC will also be in CPSA but as I said previously Stuart Howes' association probably comprises several top 20 holders, and CB presumably has been beavering away collecting No votes too.

I don't know whether it will be enough to win the day against the big insto holders and the recommendation of RC and the board to accept the offer, but it isn't going to be a walkover for the Yes vote.
