Well that is week 1 confirmation of a LT breakout rally (close above 4.5c). This is looking like becoming one of those stocks that creeps higher and higher every few days/weeks and over a month or 2 you look back and wish you bought (or never sold) . . . First meaningful stop on a weekly/monthly timetable should be 10-12c
For those of us who have been in for a long time it feels a bit surreal and like you should sell some every day until a week or 2 later when you are thankful if you didn't.
We seem to have survived a trader crowd buying and no doubt some already have got bored and walked away but I see some LT tech followers have been watching for a while and some just entered for a longer term return. There are a few little ST signals that might leave it treading water for a while - ideally though we have a bit more of a run (I still have 6.5c as a ST target) and then settle back without a weekly close below 4.5c as my dream formation.
5-10c still seems like a value zone to me (for now) but this has always been a stock with crazy potential - mostly because of the platform applicability of the science but also because of the concentration of ownership (worth noting that despite unwanted dilution through low prices in the past the owners have paid for their shares - sure the founders of the company and science are also owners which is great (they have also drawn salaries over time for their brilliant work) but the major shareholders all paid for their equity and are patiently awaiting their return on investment. A 100% return on that investment is simply what they could have achieved by investing in top 100 dividend paying stocks over the past 5 years so the current move is NOT what they (we?) are looking for IMHO.
The recent progress on the IR front is encouraging through broker and analyst reports and the Board appointments were first class. The story has barely been told and we are close to a 'fairer valuation' - I think it will be cemented whenever the leadership/management piece is resolved (still hoping it doesn't take more than a year!).
So for those who have read this far - recognising that this is a thread about monthly and weekly tech chart timeframes - I hope we all hold some for as long as that chart confirmation suggests we should - I hve an ultimate target that is above 50c but the timeframe is a few years on that . . .
I need one of my breaks from HC now - no mysteries - just trying a little social media self control. Maybe when there is an announcement in one of my favorite stocks I'll come out of the straight jacket.
