The one thing we have learnt from CJ is he likes to sound like the lawyer he is. Technically this doesn't say anything about the value of the five gemstone, only that they were "never intended" to provide a material cashflow. This could mean that the original intention was not to sell them, but to only use them as promotional material for the bulk stones. We even speculated a lot at the time that they weren't going to be sold, but kept for publicity purposes for the Mustang brand.
What CJ got slammed for was not providing any information on their quality, not their non-sale.
