You're right, the verizon agreement consists of 3 revenue components (as confirmed by IR's reply to my email):
1. SDK royalty per app,
2. CSP hosting fees
3. CSP maintenance fees
This agreement is different from that signed with Tata in the sense that there's no revenue share and there is also no one-off licensing fee. The monthly SDK royalty which is paid by Verizon on monthly basis per app distributed makes up for this.
The 281k we saw in the last qtrly consists of mainly these 3 revenue components for the FIOS app (with probably some small bits from the data rewards on Freeway).
Have to admit though that some of the sentences in previous anns were poorly worded, specifically the use of "minimum revenue guarantees" and "initial license grant" which are just plain confusing. Hopefully the management take note as this is very confusing for shareholders.
