That was the horizon power of the dark past - about 18mths - 2 years ago they changed track , in part because it was costing an absolute shitload to keep those very same towns from having - yes - blackouts - caused by an over reliance on centralised fossil fuel generation and long networks .... they had a bright idea - micro grids - combining renewables / batteries and diesel
Personally I think the too much solar power is bs , different parts of WA electricity system suppliers have been called out numerous times , always with a bias to fossil fuel
