ThereToo much paper money being printed by the reserve bank, too much liquidity. Easy to print paper Fiat currency unabated. It is the only way for the FEDS to keep the economy afloat now, to avoid stagflation temporarily. Why do you think Gold has gone up so much???. It has done so not because it is an investment, but due to the U.S dollar depreciating since 1920, The U.S Dollar is only worth 4 cents in real terms.

Gold cannot be produced out of thin air, needs to be explored for dug out the ground, processed, refined,it is the only true currency along with its poor cousing Silver.
