lets hope the rout in the US does not impact us much, looks like they have appointed someone to look into the Russia US election involvement. This headline story in AFR today.

After market volatility ebbed to a near-25-year low earlier this week and investors repeatedly overlooked Trump controversies over recent months to push stocks to record highs, traders finally awoke from their apathy to react to the rising political rancour in Washington that threatens the President's grip on power."
The US S&P 500 and blue chip Dow Jones Industrial Average both slumped 1.8 per cent in New York on Wednesday.
