There was a plethora of various "prophets" appearing and being lauded as sensations in that area at that time. Some of them made a few ripples -they came - were briefly listened to - and disappeared, forgotten. But none of them came anywhere near having the huge and ongoing impact on future world history as did Jesus, whose existence virtually brought about, indirectly, the downfall of the Roman Empire, instigating immense changes in world events.
I see a closed mind as a closed gate. Nothing gets in except what is already established behind the gate. Keeping an open mind keeps the gate open - enabling one to see things from a new and perhaps exciting viewpoint - a form of lateral thinking. and very positive.
Same concept could be applied to our thinking about share trading.
