Only thing I know is that in the long run property and equity returns are pretty much the same but run at different times.

Money is always looking for a home and when they reckon equities are done, they will be looking at property again, although it seems a bit soon for the latter.

I know after '87, rural properties were all the go and being on the land I had some lucrative offers.

Years ago I did see a property cycle chart and it was very reliable. This last run was a biggy and I suspect will take quite a while to be digestsed, but then again, I didn't think after the 90's equity run than this lastest bull would be so great.

I'm sure the internet or a real estate institute or even an agent could produce that cycle.
