you do give us a nice insight into the minds of dodgy drill rig operators - hang on you used to work on a drill rig didn't you ?
assuming there are other rigs & crews around, why would GDN in their right mind even _consider_ giving the second well to these guys ? whether legitimate mistakes or not they were pretty costly. so maybe you're right, maybe they're milking the last tests, but IMO that says nothing about whether subsequent wells are coming or not
