I have been watching the GDN debacle for 9 months now and have found it a fascinating example of the workings of the human psyche. I have no knowledge of the oil and gas field (I'm a Dr. in fact) but made a very short term trade last year for a small profit. I subsequently did some more research into the company and realised there were major concerns. For eg. back in 2000 they were running short on cash and then actually spun off an internet company listing to keep them afloat - I wonder if history repeats again, this time with the current market darling -Uranium. Its been interesing to watch the posters on this thread - most of whom know less about O and G than I do - become believers in the GDN story. By that I mean they seem to develop an unassailable faith in the stock that no amount of fact or logical discussion can erode. In fact, when people with expertise in the area post opposing views they are attacked. I think this is very much akin to religious extremism with the believers attacking you for blaspheming when you tell them the world is not flat. I never have understood this attribute in humans but clearly the propensity for it is more widespread than I thought.

Anyway, my reason for directing this to you was to ask you your opinion on Marion Energy (MAE). They have numerous tested wells and are about to produce. Based on current testing they may produce 20mcf/day. There current market cap is 200 mill ( incredibly, they were valued less than GDN a few months ago). I understand if you are not inclined to answer but would be grateful to hear any opinion you have.
