Cooling *and* wicking (heat dispersal over a might greater surface area). Think activewear too.

I mentioned to Bob that perhaps they could look at chef's uniforms. They're cotton, and chefs work near flames, but they also alternate between hot and not so hot environments (bench vs cooktop), so it might be a worthwhile avenue. There are so many more chefs than firefighters. Alexicool is not a good fit for firefighting uniforms as it heats up too quickly. Alexiflam on the other hand...

That, and the military revenue not being low margin were the two big take homes for me.
