I'm way in the red and looking for more buying opps, I just went out and bought new computer and office gear, including a new $1500 lazy boy 'trading/office chair... and anything else I could think of as a write-off, including stocking the bar for the 'entertaining clients write off'....I have two mates that trade and pay me $1 a year for advice as part of the business and claim the booze as an expense including a certain amount of travel to go see them, obviously at a massive loss but it's a nice loophole....I love my accountant....she has a heap more things to claim, including, power, rent ect....apparently I don't make that much each year and could almost even claim a low income allowance....lol

The government is there to be taken advantage of by it's own rules....that's how rich people stay rich.
