All gets a bit tiresome Bailey coming to this thread and seeing the same posters going over the same rubbish day in day out. It's no wonder there isn't any healthy discussion taking place - why bother? I've had the same thoughts - take a break, it's not worth the insults and the drama that one has to contend with. I have no problem with people having an opposite POV,stating it, debating it- it's all the other rubbish - so painfully obvious to any intelligent reader - that's an issue.
I may be completely off the mark, but at least I had a go throwing the dart.
From everything I've read so far, Gov. Cuomo has been taking many steps to revitalize the economically depressed "rust belt" manufacturing sector in his state by trying to turn it into a manufacturing powerhouse with an energy emphasis. Tesla's Gigafactory #2 - the factory that supplies the cells for SolarCity - had his, and the NY Public Authorities Control Board support - they approved an immediate $485.5 mil grant - part of a $750 mil the state will spend to construct and equip that facility. Under the deal negotiated, NY will retain ownership and lease it to Tesla's SolarCity. A great way to fund a project without going into debt!
So yes, I may be way off the mark and everyone should do their own investigation, or wait "one more sleep" to find out what it's really all about.
