From a business perspective whilst it might be nice to have a competitive carbon-nano based admixture I would wager that these companies like Sika probably pretty happy with what they are doing. Why would they commit to the research until it becomes a problem for them (or a foreseeable problem). Unless Eden suddenly have 10% or more of the market they probably don't have much to fear from them.
