Like to thank all those that contributed to the Broker Review on the weekend thread... Very insightful
Seems on a reread this morning there is no perfect broker and they all have their inherent problems... Its just a matter of whether you can live with the probs or not.
As always it seem the retailer trader is the bottom of the food chain and the services available to us by and large reflect our position in the heirarchy...
As for me starting to get cheezed off with my current set Etrade, Comsec and Open Markets ... Looking to potentially upscale to Bloomberg or Thomson Reuters but costly ....unless I can find a affordable data solution .... Perhaps Iguana2 or Paritech?
Still find it amazing in this day and age that info like accurate Mcap (usually out of date on most platforms), Live Vwap, current cash balance, Admin qtrly spend, Announcements headlines, Director history etc are not more readily available at the touch of a button. ...or more importantly downloadable in real time.
seems like the ASX and related 3rd parties vendors are stuck on the trading dark ages ... Almost inspires me to start my own company to supply relevant data ... well almost.
