Strategic buying?

Vocus is running way too hard for this to be just general market buying or short covering. The fundamentals have not improved nearly fast enough to warrant this aggressive price appreciation.

Looks to me like a high chance this is strategic buying on market, from either a private equity firm or corporate, looking to lock up a blocking stake or secure a beachhead before a takeover attempt.
