If Huntsman are indeed interested in AJX the timing of this merger could well work in our favour.
It will probably take a good 6 months to bed this merger down taking us to towards the end of the year. Unlikely they will be launching takeovers during this time .
By this time two more quarters will have passed , we will be turning a nice profit by then, listed on Nasdaq and be potentially eating into their business in some areas, as well as turning over some good $ in military contracts(can't be certain of this one as it has dragged on longer than anyone would have thought). However we were advised at the start of this year that there was going to be some military revenue this year.
Alexium by the end of the year if estimates are to be believed could easily have a rolling run rate of 50million plus, probably more with big contracts like Pegasus . It will not be a big bite to spend 1-2 billion on a takeover for a growing specialty chemical company which is a competitor from a $20billion giant.
