the way the ARL SP is holding up AFTER the record day of the oppies tells a lot about support and LT view of investors. I have looked at the ARL story from a lot of different angles and taken the rich info provided by @accaeric, @niclou, @Kablooey, @Nozza8, @makingmoneystill, etc on board. Thanks guys!

The action (or positive inaction) since Monday has me flipped my strategy with ARL completely. I thought the oppies would provide a great strategy to free carry my ARL investment at zero risk (given that I can unload my ARL shares at a reasonable price and SP doesn't tank). The only downside is the SP appreciation to the strike price from your average BUY/SELL price. A lot ARL holders have bought at IPO or accumulated on the way up to 92 cents. Some got burned on the way down into the 40s. But heaps would have been in a much better position than me, i.e. lower BUY price. There was no stampede (high volume) for the exit in the middle of last week before ARL clarified the record date or on Monday this week. Strong holders indeed.

I am way overweight with ARL at the moment and my sore eyes are pinned on the price and volume and the news flow from drilling campaigns over the next few weeks.

As I said, I am not giving away my ARL shares anymore.

Anyone else changed their ARL/oppies strategy?
