So I recently had a chat to quite a senior person in PRY. I'll keep the details vague to respect anonymity, both theirs and mine.
My sense from our chat was one of cautious optimism. There have been issues in the past which are slowly turning around. A big one has been the reputation of Primary with GPs and ensuring an adequate supply of GPs. Things are in place to turn this around, such as more flexible contracts/working conditions and a tie-up with junior doctors/university graduates.
The business is growing and evidently the Budget was good news in terms of the effective government subsidy to the health sector growing again. The economics of the business surely look good in the long-run if they can maintain/grow market share.
