I would hate to sound like I am singing the same tune but wouldn't it have been nice to see some photos of SDV and JB during the AGM? Here are photos of the ponds we are digging.. As you can see in this photo there is blah... And in this one.. Blah blah. - It's important to make the assets somewhat tangable to the investors. Nick has been doing a good job and shared some photos of lithium produced from the Galaxy concentrate.
The message we received at the AGM was that there are exciting things ahead and we will hear more news flow with regard to JB over the following quarters. - I don't remember any mention about expected news flow from Sal De Vida.. Though maybe they mentioned the pond liners? But I cannot remember when that was possibly going to occur.. Is it in any of the presentations?
I was just reflecting on my comment about AJM and Galaxy consolidating was the right thing to do. Differentiating from the penny dreadfuls and hopefuls from the producers ORE and GXY. I'd imagine more peer lithium stocks will do the same once they hit production and are unlikely to require further capital raisings. Cheap stocks maybe make the sector look weak.. And we saw what happened when all of these lithium stocks appeared which gave rise to thoughts of a lithium bubble because investors general understanding of mining is digging up coal or iron ore and shipping it off, rather than a more technical resource like lithium that requires additional steps.
The one company that I have been watching recently is AGY. Just to clarify I haven't brought in. AGY don't appear to have released any information about their brine chemistry. In announcements I have read they indicate that they will do that later... Maybe I have misunderstood? My understanding is that they plan to produce 50 tonnes per annum from the pilot plant.. Galaxy are planning 1500 tonnes per annum at Sal De Vida which is 30 times that of AGY.
I just wonder what share price a spun off Sal De Vida might achieve in a side by side comparison. Assuming the same number of shares allocated for the asset. - It's an interesting thought and I would greatly appreciate hearing other's views.
Is there a comparable asset to James Bay on the ASX we might be able to consider under a similar view?
