Indirectly, she pointed out that Anzac Day is a bit OTT in the grand scheme of things - we supported the British /French/Russian Empires v the German/Austrian Empires. A sad waste of brave lives really.
She then apologized if the timing was insensitive.
Then she said that if it really comes down to it, the real owners of the land are aboriginals, not white British colonialists, displaced Europeans post WW2, ten pound poms, or Asians on a rich persons visa.
Maybe that's my interpretation (and I'm certainly no Islamic sympathiser ), but I don't respect a witch hunt either.
