Pipeline tariff reductions are only part of the story, and not the most important part for CTP as most of the pipelines they need to use seem to be excluded from Vertigan's tariff reduction considerations. I'm more interested to see what changes might be recommended around backhaul contracts. If CTP only has to pay to deliver as far as Mt Isa things look very different.

I wouldn't say COE has exactly been 'stable' - it was a basket case of a company until fairly recently. If COE can change its board and suddenly be considered 'investment-grade' then I don't see why CTP couldn't do the same if the fundamentals stacked up. If the business case is there they will find investors.

I wish you all luck. I'm out. I will look at it again when the CR is announced.

The yes voters all seem to be selling which of course just increases the chance of the takeover failing. So I don't blame you - if it does indeed fail I am expecting the SP to plummet, at least temporarily. Particularly with all these board shenanigans going on too.
