Correct - it has nothing to do with Christianity, Islam or Judaism.
Unfortunately the usual tribe of right wing key board warriors on HC dont want or care to understand that. They want a small Government that cant tell you what to do or think but they want the Government big enough to tell you who you can or cannot marry. Hypocrisy in the extreme and completely illogical and indefensible. As a collective they should be ashamed of themselves for forcing their views on others. By all means have an opinion but it should have no bearing on who someone can or cannot marry. Pretty simple really and a fundamental right.
