    On another forum, someone gave an explanation for the difference between Australia and the US stock markets:

    Australian stocks pay out twice the yield compared to the US. So our index will generally lag, and US companies will trade at higher multiples. For example, S&P500 yield is < 2%, whereas XJO yield is 4.5%.

    Of course, we can accelerate if there’s a commodities/mining boom.
