Thx guys for drawing attention to info from A2M threads.

Credit also to @Profit76 for providing Aztec Pharmacy Scan data in the first place (who has provided this info consistently for quite some time now).  Apparently this data indicates market share (as opposed to sales turnover/revenue) and is pharmacy sales only (i.e. doesn't include supermarket sales).

The data clearly shows the dramatic change in marketshare mix leading up to Singles Day last year (and all credit to A2M for being able to continue to build on this).  This info was already known and acknowledged by BAL earlier this year.  

With respect to Aptamil sales, I think it's worth pointing out that Aptamil has something like 15 different products, compared with A2M and BAL's three products (hence have held significant market share dominance for a long time).

Another bit of info being discussed on the A2M threads on 26 May is that China is simplifying the IF registration process, apparently because none of the 170 qualified factories had been able to complete registration yet.  I suggest watch this space for news in media this week??
