Imagine the moaning from you howard stooges if a state government had actually had the forsight to go into debt to fund infrastructure 5 years ago. Economic rationalism has been the cause of these infrastructure shortfalls, no planning, no looking forward, just a bunch of accountants at federal and state level. Why is the consumer, bussiness and the finance industry leveraged to the hilt while our federal and state governments won't borrow to fund important infrastructure? Doesn't make sense does it?
