I'm away on my boat this week ( currently anchored in horseshoe bay Peel island ) I have 3 x 210 amp hour AGM batteries they weigh 75kg each - you can only run them down to 50 % discharge so effectively only 300 amp useable charge where as lithium you can discharge down to 20 % - plus as you say a shipload lighter unfortutnatly also a shipload dearer - I just bought a 2kva honda camping generator which I am trialing this trip to use rather than inverter that flattens the 12 v
