It's hard for me to explain why shorter's are evil in English. My English is poor.

    Anyway, let me try.
    1. Shorter's intention is evil. Investors grew with company, it's a win-win relationship. Unlike Investor, shorter's profit is purely based on other people's loss. Shorter's intention is to make everyone lose.
    2. Shorter's behavior is despicable. A normal company has StrengthA, WeaknessB, RiskC, OppotunityD. In order to make other people lose(drive price lower), the shorter hides StrengthA and OppotunityD, only exaggerate WeaknessC and RiskD. Most time even makeup and spread rumor to exploiting fear to drive prices lower.
    3. Shorters borrow shares from shareholders without permission. I call it stealing.
    4. Short-selling might kill a healthy small cap business. Especially when the market cap is lower than the bank loan.
    5. Short-selling waste management's time as the management need to spend extra time to handle the short attack.

Some people argue:"Short-selling keeps market healthy, create more oppotunity for other investors."

Again, that's not their intention, they don't give a rate ass about how healthy/unhealthy the market is. The shorter's intention is to MAKE everyone lose (for his own benefit).

People also argue:"When an shoter shorts a stock they are betting that it is over-valued, just as when they buy a stock they are betting that it is under-valued. "

Shorter is not another side of investor. Another side of investor is bystanders.

Running a business is like a person walk on a narrow bridge. Investors give the person a hand. Bystanders don't believe him can make it, so they stand aside.

Shorters are the asshoes who push the person, scare him, harass him,  hope he will fell and drag other investors down the bridge. Because that's how he makes money. Maybe the shorter is right, the person is too fat to walk the bridge. But again, its intention is evil.
