McCain is an old school American patriot. One of the last great Cold War warriors. He's also one of the few Republicans with the principles and courage to call Trump out on his flagrant legal and constitutional violations. Trump hates him, but McCain has too much weight in the party for him to touch him. His reputation and standing is beyond reproach
