Thanks for your input. I agree that the importance of the very postive connectivity results may have been overshadwed by PE and other issues. Given the Chinguetti (and Banda/Tevet etc) experience in Mauritania it was crucial to determine good connectivity. Some of us here went through the decline in Chinguetti reserves which saw a tremendous share price rise ahead of production fade signifcantly (from a high of $2.50 to around $1.00) before a takeover saved our bacon. Very happy that that looks unlikley with SNE. What a monster as you say. Your 450 square km is probably conservative as Sirius alone looks to me like more than 100 square km and its very likely Spica will be part of the same deposit (and probably Suma to the south). As Cath said we have oil in spades and barrels as well!
