Hi ywtoh, yes the challenges we face actually finding good stocks are there and the process does take a lot of reading and analysis. I'm not the shiniest apple on the tree and must admit I have a lot of difficulty (and not enough time) to be able to intelligently analyse and properly follow a lot of stocks. The "experts" heavily promote the need for diworsification of between 10 to 20 stocks however 5 is my limit and even then usually will be vastly overweight in one. Funny but my last two real long term winners over the last 10 years came from casual mentions of the stock on HC from two guys who have an ability to really pick up the gems.
Lefevre recently posted that brokers note "you have over 40% in one stock, blah. blah", at a guess a number of us would have received the same message.
There's no way I would state the percentage EMC holds in our portfolios, to do that would mean that the men in white coats would lock me up (not my scrip) and throw away the key or alternatively just take me down to our river and put me down.
Funny but I do not now lose a moment's sleep over our investments in EMC having met the guys several times and having seen the company develop to this level.The calibre of the executives and their ability to publicly lay out and meet multiple objectives is very rare and indicates that there are some amazing talents on the payroll. Only thing that would perhaps keep one awake is if that funny little fat guy in NK did something incredibly stupid however that is really out of our control.

Of course, as with any stock, we always have to be on the lookout for red flags but barring those appearing
I just take a very long term view. Each to his/her own.

Many thanks for your extensive input to these threads, you have a foot in both worlds and give us a pretty unique look into the market in China and the very different way business is conducted there.
