1. Did a mediation process ever get invoked. I know that people on hc and Facebook reported rumours. CN has simply said COP refused to provide more detail. FAR have never ever said a formal mediation process is underway.
2 the Govt has never ever formally said they will be involved from a mediation perspective. All they said is they'd like to see it sorted amicably they never ever said they'd be involved
3. I also wouldn't underplay the role of the sacked minister in perhaps allowing FAR to speak with some licence about govt approval still reqd. The president at this time is calling the shots and he is a petroleum geologist.
