I just read the prohibition on political posts and my interpretation is that it's OK in the context of a legitimate stock market thread. The price of ABJ has been dropping ever since Rodent and Co made the political decision to support bioethanol at the expense of biodiesel. The sugar lobby is huge in Aust and it was still unhappy after being short changed over the Aust/US free trade deal. Bioethanol is seen to favour sugar producers even though much of it comes from grain.
Imo the energy savings favour biodiesel over bioethanol especially for bioethanol from grain. I use biodiesel in my Hiace whenever I get the chance but I sold out of ABJ as soon as the market turned following the govt uturn. I want to see a clear indication of a rising price before I consider getting back in.
