I would call MD on phone if you are concerned.
Quicker response and you can have a discussion and gauge his tone and confidence rather than a 1 line email..
I spoke with roger a few weeks back and he was happy to talk over a few of the issues. Correctly he was unable to divulge non public information but trust me even with other companies, talking to the MD is much better than just reading announcements and certainly better than reading HC!
