Honestly I have no idea.. it could be done in layered separate sheets connected in parallel, could be done in a roll.. or probably other configurations.
Adding the second sheet of plastic could be the back of the second printed sheet even.
Main point was that the finished product is not a flat sheet.
I wouldn't picture this being done via 3D printing
But... call me a 3D printing skeptic... but who knows eh?
