Hey TM . Personally I don't know what all the fuss is about either . I don't get why people place so much importance on a marriage certificate these days . As you so eloquently pointed out , it's only a piece of paper .
I think it's an old religion based thing . If people think that a certificate is going to make an iota of difference to their relationship then maybe they should think again .
However if people want to get married , and it makes them happy , then more power to them . Gay or straight .
