News: BLT Benitec Biopharma says files for stock shelf offering of upto $20 mln, page-16

With none of the $20M actually locked up right now, one has to ask the question why now? If we are expecting good data and a possible boost from Calimmune data, why do we need to announce a CR right now? We have capital to last until the end of the year, so why not wait a few more months? Furthermore, this announcement has gazumped the next OPMD announcement and so the share price bounce that announcement would have generated has now been dampened.

Unless we get some sensible explanation from management (which I doubt we will get), then many of us will be holding the equivalent of junk bonds. If that turns out to be the case, then I won't waste my time doing anymore research, or posting on HC and I will write off the loss. Maybe I will come back in ten years when there may be something to show for an investment.

Management, I am waiting and so are a lot more of us so PLEASE EXPLAIN!!!!!
