1. ???? I've gone off track ? Don't even know what that question means ? What ' gay married couples ' are you talking about ? They don't exist , remember ?
2. You made the point that children of a gay couple will theoretically have less exposure to both sexes . I make the point that there are many children in Australia that are in a similar situation because they are in single parent families . Both are disadvantaged in that sense . So it's ok for kids in single parent families but not ok for kids of gay parents ?
3. I can't speak for every parent in Australia . All I can speak about is the people I know and work with . What I do know is that the younger ones accept gay people without a bat of an eyelid . The older ones mostly have changed their views . The reason ? Because it turns out they have a son/daughter , nephew/niece , grandson/granddaughter , neighbour etc that is gay . Turns out that when it is someone in your family it changes the way you think .
Kids need safe sex education period . Gay , straight doesn't matter . They need to be educated even if their parents don't want to be .
4. Many adopted kids feel loss . Many of them simply wonder why they were given up . Why they didn't their mother love them etc ?
That's why adoption is being swapped out with fostering these days in the hope that the parents will get it together and the kids can go home . I have friends who have fostered heaps of young kids for this very reason .

6. Aboriginal is a different case . What if they are gay aboriginal parents vs white hetero parents ?
