Folks here are ready to condemn the Chinese but the sad fact is that all manner of people have been able to influence Oz politics and to a much greater degree in the past. Take for example the influence of the US on the Whitlam governmment....
What is needed is a) legislation for zero foreign funding of political parties and b) Federal watchdog organisation like the NSW ICAC for our Canberra pollies.
