    Thanks @Sandvik -

Explaining things is what Tiggers do best. It is my absolute pleasure to help you reach enlightenment.

And I appreciate that you will never ask me to explain anything, but that you would like me to explain my interest here. So I will try to do both...

You asked for an explanation of "new ownership" - and I offered it because I understood both the context of Mary's post - as well as your apparent confusion given you entered the conversation midway through.

The nature of your request for Mary to clarify what she meant, coupled with your fairly combative comment that "Last time i checked all bears have been dreadfully wrong about DFE!" gave me concern that Mary would - and justifiably imo - tell you to "go f**k yourself!" so I provided the information you requested as a courtesy to help you by answering the question you asked.

I also tried to gently give you some guidance on proper forum etiquette - well, actually just on how to be a good human. It's pretty simple really. Don't insult people - especially those who you are asking to do you a favour.

Now... to answer your question... NO - I don't have a short interest - as much as that might play into some people's paranoid delusions as to what would motivate someone to post on a stock they don't currently hold. (Hint - it's a "discussion forum" - not a "holder's only fan club").

I did provide quite a detailed answer to @dualbot as to why I'm here - feel free to go back and read it at your leisure if you are super interested in my motives. I think you'll be disappointed though - nothing sinister here.

In fact... it may interest you to know that my very first post on SGH was in response to what I thought at the time was the absolutely outrageous claim being made by an infamous poster here, that SGH was the sort of stock that Warren Buffett was talking about when he said "buy when others are fearful".

Here is that very first post - https://hotcopper.com.au/posts/23292557/single - so really you can thank your good mate @SWC for my presence here really.

It is precisely this sort of deceptive and misleading posting that generates some of the sharper responses on this forum. You'll find even most "bears" are very happy to entertain rational conversations with "bulls" - its only unsubstantiated rubbish or rudeness that gets short shrift.

I did stick around for a while to try to "keep him honest" - but when you're dealing with someone who refuses to answer difficult questions, ignores any information that doesn't agree with their view, recycles debunked research, is incapable of performing even basic arithmetic, posts the same regurgitated crap on a daily basis, and seems intent on mis-leading others, well - it just grinds you down after a while.

    So no - I'm not a shorter.

I am "bearish" on this stock but only because of the situation that the company is in. I don't have any desire to see anyone lose money here - though I do struggle to see any way forward that does not involve a fair amount of pain for current holders. I would be happy to be wrong - or for a creative restructuring proposal to appear that sent the share price to $1 and made you and other holders a bazillion dollars overnight. God knows there are several posters here who've more than earned that sort of break - but experience tells me it's unlikely, and that "hope" is not the ideal basis for rational investing.

Good luck though - hope it works out for you.
