The point of the thing being that the US as 'leader' of the free world (read bully) should be a beacon of light with its 'holier than thou persona' this is not a good thing for he UN and shows a lack of foresight from a country that has done more in recent years in many areas to exacerbate human rights abuses by following a tactic of warmongering to keep its own agenda of arms proliferation going. Over all it is another nail in the shady dealings of an already politically unstable organisation.
