redabyss -is jewish dna from arab lineage ? I dont think you can legitimately claim that Abraham was the first Jew. These are normally taken to be the children of Israel, one of his grandsons, while other lines lead to the Arabs and to Moses.

the Moslems claim Abraham to be an early Moslem who prayed to Mecca and made several pilgrimages there.

Mate, I make that claim because the Torah says so. Muslims accept the Old Testament.....so I guess for consistancies sake, they'd have to go along with what I just posted.....unless of course they can produce a version of the Old Testament (Torah) that claims otherwise.

As to the Muslim claim....there might be some who make that Mecca claim......but what are their sources? The Koran? (if that) The Koran only came on the scene a couple of thousand years after the Torah and Abraham, the first Jew was around some 400 yeard before the Torah was given to the Jews on Mt Sinai.

Now if you think the whole story is one lot of nonsence.....fine.......but the Arabs don't. They believe their Arab ancestory dates back to Ishmael......and guess what?............. Ishmael was the son whom Abraham sent packing together with his concubine mother, Hagar.

They can't have it both ways..........or do they pluck what suits them from the Torah.....and then do the same from the New Testament.....and voila......you have a .........Koran?

Anyway back to Abe.......his son from his wife Sarah......(Hagar's mistress of the household) was Isaac....to whom Abraham bequeather everything .....and he in turn had Jacob, whom the Torah renames......Israel....and subsequently the 12 tribes followed from Jacobs 12 sons.

A little easier to understand? (from our perspective of course.......and non believers?.....continue laughing....lol)
