Who does have control over their destiny.... no one knows the future except for the man upstairs.
I think they do have control. Look at the MOU's they have prioritized versus those they have put on hold or disengaged. They are continuing to progress the relationships. They know where they are heading and are confident these MOU's will progress and deliver revenue streams.
Remember they have limited resources, namely highly skilled manpower. They are trying to build this resource up and just perhaps...perhaps.... that is why they are acquiring companies with such technical expertise...programmers and the like that they can leverage off.
You talk about control of destiny!!!! Just look at the disasterous acquisitions that have occurred among top name companies:
Did they have control of their destiny being such Huge Players with deep pockets and plenty of manpower?????
NAB and their UK acquisition
Woolworths and Masters Hardware
Apple and lala.com
Cisco and Linksys
Daimler Benz and Chrysler
