I think this will upset a lot of Farites, but everyone should realize WPL BOUGHT the company which owned 35% of SNE field plus other fields.
That is a very important distinction.
The licence is held by the JV partners - all including the company (refer to the above) which was purchased by WPL!!!
The "game" played by FAR is that the JV have not been notified by the Gov of Senegal on the transfer of interest to Woodside.
Nothing about legitimacy of ownership - its only in reference to the Gov notification to JV partners.
Refer to statement of FAR below.
