Trump is toast. The Republicans will stick by him for now for the sake of unity but they'll bail when he's outlived his usefulness. The smarter ones know he's an idiot while those less adroit will continue to defend him because they don't know how to extricate themselves. They'd prefer to live with the ignominy than admit they voted for a braggart, a fool and a liar.
