The west struggles to prevent and limit terrorist attacks in the west and for all practical purposes has no ability to limit the same inside foreign Muslim countries.

Within western countries, the west struggles to engage Muslim communities living amongst them in the fight against Islamists, radicalisation and terrorism.

Whilst you reasonably point out the inequity of press coverage, and interpret that as lack of concern for human plight, there are practical limitations to your argument.

Leaving aside exported terrorism, the "cruellness" and "atrocities" Muslims inflict on Muslims is mind numbing and speaking only for myself it jades my views on Islam being a viable religion, let alone a supposedly peaceful one. Islam needs its reformation imo.
