No prob. The first line of you original post had me wondering because it said 'DS' so I was confused as to whether you meant me. There was a bit of confusion a decade ago about it as well but he never really sought to hide his identity back then and everyone knew he posted as 2187.

Pretty tenuous link between inside information and 'ramping' - PL was feeding everyone blue sky rubbish continuously and dozens were regurgitating it here and on other forums. Were they ramping or just true believers? My impression from here and the good old RUM google forum was that everyone was hyping each other but it was the AIM listing that truely changed the share price at the time - they ended up buying something like 85% of the stock. 2187 had a following because of he confidence and larger holding but I think he ended up losing most of it anyway - yes he took some out along the way but then got taken to the cleaners like the rest as he lost what he took out.

I hope someone writes a book about it one day - I could never really get my head around all the players - there were Melbourne Cup tents, Underbelly connections, Opes Prime, CNOC , secret meetings at Adelaide airport etc that was always referred to through innuendo but the facts were never clear - my only regret was never getting one of the numbered RUM caps - they are a collectors item.
