Brings back memories of working above the arctic circle in northern Canada a long time ago.

The locals called us snow geese because we came in for the summer and left before it froze over again.

24 hour daylight, which they would have at IW2 at the moment, takes a bit of getting used to. Going out at midnight and seeing the sun still quite high in the sky is odd but odder still is that it is to the north as it peeks over the top of the world. The lakes are still frozen and can stay that way until July. Although breakup makes it tricky to judge what is safe to walk or land planes on, or play golf with pink spray painted balls...

Did a lot of work looking for minerals (rather than oil) and enjoyed that plus the fishing, scenery and 7 hole golf course. Not the mosquitoes and black flies which can make a pristine place very trying.

Hope the Accumulate team on the north slope enjoy their time up there this summer and send us some good news.
