In terms of todays debate, have nothing more to add but this post from yesterday to put back down.  The fact is if the plants are maturing earlier and yield is unaffected then at 1/10th of the cost  than for traditional fertilisers (or even at 3/10th of the cost) means cost competitiveness for GPP plus the ability for farmers to get more out of their land.  Full stop.  Anyway looking forward to the hydroponic results (which is another potential bow for GPP if results are positive) followed by the field trials for wheat etc.  Note I don't expect the lab results to translate in the field  (with the exception of the hydroponic results because they are in a controlled environment and glasshouses are a controlled environment btw) but the advantage, if proven, is around cost plus time (if it is a reduced time to) to harvesting assuming yield similar to traditional fertilisers.  Everything else is semantics so that is what I am focussing on, cost, time to harvest and whether yield is similar to traditional fertilisers  so time will tell here. All IMO and I'll leave it at that but I am sure we'll end up back at bla bla bla bla bla
